CSU Bookstore Refresh Project
Information about the CSU Bookstore refresh project running from May 2022-May 2023.
Building the Bookstore for the Future of CSU
In May 2022, the CSU Bookstore will begin a refresh project inside our Lory Student Center location, coinciding with the Lory Student Center North End expansion and remodeling project.
The scope of work at the CSU Bookstore includes:
Replace out of code fire suppression equipment and acoustic tile ceiling fixtures.
Replace the bookstore staircase for customer safety and to unify the two levels.
New paint, signage, energy efficient lighting, carpet, and store fixtures.
A better shopping experience for CSU students, alumni, staff, faculty, fans, and the CSU community.
During Summer 2022, crews will work on our lower level. The lower level of the bookstore will better serve our student customers, with new locations for our course materials and supplies departments. Students will find the supplies they need for their courses, and readers will be able to find our General Books department in its new home.
Beginning in Spring 2023, we will temporarily shift our CSU Rams Gear to the lower level while crews improve our upper level. Bold new graphics throughout the store will greet CSU Rams fans who are purchasing their CSU Rams gear. The store will be the perfect place to gear up for game day!

Frequently Asked Questions
When is the remodeling project beginning?Crews will start working on the lower level at the start of the Summer 2022 term, and we anticipate work will be finished on the lower level before the start of the Fall 2022 term. After the holiday season, crews will begin working on the upper level, with work scheduled for completion in May 2023.
Will I still be able to shop at the CSU Bookstore during construction?YES! We anticipate being open during construction. You may not find items in the same space you normally would find them, but our friendly employees can help locate the items you are seeking.
Where can I park during the construction project?
Customers will be able to park in the Engineering parking lot, but will need to "cut through" the Engineering building to access the Lory Student Center from the eastern entrances, or go around the west side of the building to enter from the west entrances.
For best results, we recommend parking at the CSU Morgan Library parking lot (Lot #425) and entering the LSC from any of the available entrances on the south, west, or east sides of the building.
The Transfort CSU Transit Center will be closed during summer 2022. Please contact Transfort for assistance with transit services.
