Convenient On-Campus Pick-Up of Your CSU Bookstore Textbook Preorder!
When the residence halls open, make sure you stop by the CSU Bookstore to pick up your textbook preorder! Our pickup location is open the same hours as the CSU Bookstore.
We are distributing orders from the CSU Bookstore Buyback/Rental Return windows, located in the lower-level hallway of the Lory Student Center.
Not able to come to campus? Textbook preorder is only available for students who can pick up their preorder on campus. If you need the CSU Bookstore to ship your books, please click the button below to start an online order.

How do I know my order is ready to pick up?
All Textbook Preorders will be ready to pick up at least five days before courses begin. You will receive a reminder email informing you when to pick up your order.How do you know what books I will need?
We will pull your schedule about two weeks before courses begin. This is the schedule we will use to determine what course materials you will need.Do you pull all items required for courses?
We pull the required textbooks, plus any optional materials if you requested them on your sign up form. Some courses may require supply kits. These items can be purchased in the bookstore when you pick up your Textbook Preorder.What is an iClicker, and will I need one?
An iClicker is an electronic polling device that allows instructors to engage students in a classroom by posing questions in real time. Students respond to the questions by using their iClicker. Student responses are collected, and results provide immediate feedback to the students and instructor for course comprehension.If you already own an iClicker, you do not need to request another one.
How can I cancel a portion of my Textbook Preorder?
At this time, our system will not allow you to cancel a portion of your Textbook Preorder. You can return any unneeded textbooks when you pick up your order.How will I know how much my books will cost?
You will receive an itemized receipt showing the costs for each book when you pick up your textbooks. You can compare prices for your course materials using our Price Comparison Tool.
How can I ship my Textbook Preorder?
Shipping is not available for Textbook Preorder. Students who submit a textbook preorder request must be able to pick up their order at the CSU Bookstore distribution location.

How do I cancel my Textbook Preorder?

Can I pick up my Textbook Preorder earlier?
We are unable to offer early pick up of Textbook Preorders.
How long do I have to pick up my Textbook Preorder?
Students can pick up their Textbook Preorders until Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 7 pm.For unusual or unforeseen circumstances, students can make arrangements to pick up their Textbook Preorder at a later date by sending a request via email to [email protected].
How does Textbook Preorder work when my course uses online (Day One Access) course materials?
If you are in a course which offers online (Day One Access) materials, you will receive access to your materials on the first day of class. Please check Canvas or your @colostate.edu email for more details.
What happens if the instructor decides not to use the book I received from Textbook Preorder?
Simply return the book to the bookstore before January 31, 2024.Please help us take care of students who may need the books you don't need by returning your unneeded books early.

Students enrolled in courses with Day One Access have DAY ONE access to course materials. The course materials are charged conveniently to the pupil's student account.
