CSU Bookstore Shipping Label Request Form

Request a UPS label to return rental books to the CSU Bookstore.

We are not offering free return labels for books rented in Fall 2021. 

Do you need a label to return your rental books to the CSU Bookstore? Please fill out the form below, and the CSU Bookstore will send you one UPS label to return your books to us.

UPS return labels are only available for students living in the contiguous United States. We are unable to provide labels to students in Alaska, Hawaii, or studying abroad.

We request that students living in Fort Collins not request a return label. Return books using our convenient in-store options for returning rental books.

Request your label by clicking the button below and filling out the form. Please note, you will only be able to fill out this form once.

After completing the form, please WAIT UP TO 72 HOURS until we fulfil your label request. YOU WILL NOT GET A SHIPPING LABEL IMMEDIATELY AFTER COMPLETING THE FORM!

The label request form is CLOSED as of May 17, 2021. Students must mail back returns at their own expense.

Open Email With Label

You will receive two emails from [email protected] Look for the email that starts with the subject line "UPS Label Delivery, 1ZW683W0..........." This message will have your shipping label.

Click on the big yellow button marked "Get Shipping Label" for options to print your shipping label, which includes an option to receive a code on your smartphone you can present at participating The UPS Store locations to print your return label. 

The CSU Bookstore will send ONE label to a student using the email address provided. The CSU Bookstore cannot resend or reissue labels that cannot be located in your email mailbox once we verified you provided the correct information.

Print Label and Ship

Box up your return in a sturdy box. Avoid using shipping bags, as these can damage your books in transit.

Write your student number on the outside of the box to ensure your rental book return is credited to your account.

To help us process your return faster, please write your student ID number on the exterior of the box..

I Have Not Received My Label

After submitting your label request, you received a confirmation email from the CSU Bookstore confirming we received your label request. The email address we sent your confirmation email to will be the same email that UPS will use to send your label.

If you did not receive this confirmation email, you most likely provided an incorrect email address when submitting your label request. Please send your student number to [email protected] so we can research your label request.

Please check your Spam, Junk, or if you are using Gmail, your "All Mail" folder to verify the email from [email protected] was not filtered out. Smart filtering features such as "Focused Inbox" from Outlook often filters these messages. 

If you have not received your label from UPS within 72 hours of submitting the form, please forward your confirmation email with the subject line "We Received Your CSU Bookstore Label Request" to [email protected] so we can research your label request.
