About the Authors

Brendan Leonard is a contributing editor at Climbing Adventure Journal, and The Dh Diaries; and has climbed trad routes throughout the Front Range and the West since Lee Smith taught to place gear in 2007. Lee Smith has been ascending mountains and crags for more than 40 years and hopes someday to be an accomplished climber. When he's not engaged in his career as an aircraft maintenance technician, Lee Will likely be found hanging off some remote precipice.
