Fall Semester 2007 Textbook Award Program

For the past several semesters, 20 students have been randomly selected to receive textbook scholarships from the CSU Bookstore.  The awards, valued up to $400 each, are randomly given to students at various cashier locations during the first week of classes. This semester, six of the scholarships are being randomly awarded to students who participated in our Textbook Reservation program.

There is no paperwork to fill out to be eligible.  At random times throughout the day, a cash register number is chosen.  Whoever is standing at that register, wins!  It’s that easy!

Winners must be registered students at Colorado State University and provide the CSU Bookstore with a copy of their current class schedule.  Winners may receive required books for the classes for which they are registered, up to $400.

Winners agree to have their name, major, photograph and amount awarded posted on the “winner’s board”, and in the Rocky Mountain Collegian.

Funding for this program is provided through co-op dollars from textbook distributors.  No University funds are used for this program.

The CSU Bookstore is located in the Lory Student Center on the campus of Colorado State University and is owned and operated by CSU.  All revenues are used for student programs and services.

There's no need to sign up! At intervals throughout the promo days, a "winning" cash register number is drawn. If you're the customer being served at that register, you win!

Do I have to be present to win?

Yes. As indicated above, you must be the customer being served at the "winning" cash register to win, which means you must be present.
