Welcome to the CSU Bookstore!
Conveniently located in the Lory Student Center, we have the things you need and the stuff you want! Our store carries all the books and materials required for classes at Colorado State University, as well as a large selection of everyday reading books. We sell one of the largest selections of CSU insignia clothing and gifts in the world. The CSU Bookstore's Art and School Supplies departments carry a complete line of products you need to succeed at CSU!
More Ways to Save
We know that textbooks are expensive. That's why we offer so many ways to save!
- Used Books! You save 25% when you buy used books. Last year the CSU Bookstore sold over 95,000 used books (that's over $1,500,000 in student savings!)
- Discounts on new books! You get a 10% on ALL new textbooks that cost more than $150.
- Alternative Books! Last fall CSU students saved $350,000 by purchasing softbound and 3 ring bound books, and yes, they are eligible for buyback when used again at CSU!
Receive Tax Credit for Your Textbooks
Under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act's (ARRA) newly created American Opportunity Tax Credit, textbook and other course material expenses—along with tuition and fees incurred in 2009 and 2010 and not covered by scholarships or grants—may be claimed as a tax credit of up to $2,500 on that year's tax return. However, students and families must keep a record of their expenses to be eligible. Learn more about this program and download the IRS forms!
